The Origins of Love Portfolio created in an edition of 50 plus 5 artist proofs, consists of nine images selected by artist Hiroshi Sugimoto. This includes an essay written by the artist. Each portfolio is signed and numbered.
This portfolio includes:
– An original color print of The Music Lesson. This image, a pigmented color ink-jet print, was specially created and signed by the artist exclusively for this edition.
The Music Lesson is measured 7 13/16 x 6 1/18 inches (198 x 156mm) and is mounted onto a 4-ply rising museum board of 11/13 x 16 inches (300 x 280mm) and covered by a windowed 8-ply rising museum board.
– Eight offset prints that illustrates works from Sugimoto’s Diorama series, and are printed in black plus 2PMS onto Parilux Gloss paper.
8 offset prints from Diorama series are measured 5 1/8 x 7 13/16 inches (130 x 198mm) and 6 1/8 x 7 13/16 inches (156 x 198mm). Each print is mounted onto a 4-ply rising museum board of dimensions 11 13/16 x 11 inches (300 x 280mm).
All images are neatly enclosed in a wooden box specially designed by the artist.
